I have a stuffed cat that may parents bought for me when I was 2. It's quite tattered and my mom has sewn it up many times over the years, but it's still recognizably a cat. Lol. Now it sits in a closet with other stuffed animals, including my mom's stuffed rabbit from when she herself was a kid.

When my big sister left the boarding school we both attended, she gave me her little stuffed rabbit to "look after". I still have it.

I had a stuffed dog that I loved the stuffin out of. He was definitely my security blanket. I got rid of him about ten years ago because I realized how insecure I was, I felt like he held all that fear and loneliness...

@MarbleMarvel I had a bunny, he had to be re-covered 3 times as he kept falling apart. I still have him, he's ascended to God status at this point 😆

@MarbleMarvel Thats so cute. I just love seeing the toys that people have obviously loved to death. ☺

Buffy bear. He's ridiculously threadbare now. Has had bare fur patched and three limbs hold on with string now. But he was always my favourite (his condition points to that). He sits in a chair in the loft beside my model railway 😂

I had a teddy bear imaginatively named Teddy which I got when I was a baby. I slept with him until I was about 12 or so, but don't know what happened to him in the end

I had a stuffed lamb that from age 2 or 3. Loved it then, pretty sure it disintegrated instead of being thrown away. Lol

@Kuronekko My oldest son had a blanket, we finally got it from him, repaired it, sealed it up and put if away for his kids if he has any.
Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@TallMtnMedic These things should never be thrown away. After my kids and dogs, Bunny is still the first thing I would save in a fire.

@Kuronekko Agreed! Best childhood friends.

I had a white teddy bear that is now sitting in my ex-girlfriend's parents' basement in Canada. Probably not getting it back. 😅
Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@thepreposterouspanda Oh no! I would have to go break him out.
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@Kuronekko Unfortunately, I'm all the way down in Georgia and far more disabled than I was when I left him there so it's just not really feasible haha.
Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@thepreposterouspanda Aw well maybe she would post him.

Marbles, playing with marbles. Everyone played with marbles when I was little kid.

Kuronekko · 41-45, F
@HumanEarth I had a collection and some of them had names. I found a frosted glass one in the dirt once and I called it Queenie lol

I had some plushies that I used to talk to, by the time I got more interested in girls than plushies I grew out of it
