Entitled mentality

@DearAmbellina2113 Depends on the school really. Free college isnt free, we all pay for it.
University is still not reality, actually getting out into the real world, supporting yourself, having bills and making your own life choices is reality.

I know several that took a year off between hs and college, they were better equipped for the college life, and actual reality that comes with working.

@ABCDEF7 of course not. K-12 is necessary for the basics but they're not gonna learn the more complex (and crucial) lessons til University. That's where they learn critical thinking and more about the world than their little hometowns.

@ABCDEF7 not sure why you're implying that K-12 is not vital. I literally said it in my last comment.

@DearAmbellina2113 I am just trying to say, if they don't took the school education seriously, they neither can perform well at University, nor they are entitled to it before getting their basics strong.

@ABCDEF7 trust me they can. College is way more interesting than high school and they're treated like adults. That makes a huge difference.

@DearAmbellina2113 Are you not forgetting the students those achieve good marks at school level. There are many university students who got failed or drops out just because they can't do well in the subjects and founds then uninteresting that otherwise are considered interesting.

The problem is with concentration levels of students not with just the subjects.
