First week of uni

Does anyone else skip the majority of classes during the first week of back to uni?

Never actually. Those are always my best periods of attendance. Always started off strong. Perhaps would skip later if I was starting to feel burned out. But always like to start feeling like I was on top of everything. no worse feeling than starting off in the hole.
It isn’t wise. You will get the syllabus and the instructor will share their expectations for the class. They typically let out early. Skipping the first class of the semester isn’t a good way to start your journey.

Skipped school a few times, I left school at the age of 14, started work straight away. I didn't go to university, I am now retired without regrets.
I can't imagine why people would. it seems like an expensive thing to buy then not go to.

No. If I had done that, I would have never caught up.
