I got approached by some young guys at the grocery store asking for donations for getting into college. Has this ever happened to you?

I was looking at the peeps selection because i love those things and I got approached by 2 young guys with a clipboard they were showing me they were interested in these schools and wanted to know if i would like to donate to help them get in or something along those lines. I told them I'm sorry but no but the one kept pushing and I said no I don't have a lot of money and walked away. I saw them go off to someone else. I don't know if you are genuine or just trying to scam. Part of me really wants to believe they were genuine but there's other ways to fund raise than approach strangers at a store.

You can go directly to the manager if anything like that ever happens again and find out if the young men have permission to solicit inside the store.

Usually, if they are legit, they set up a table outside and ask for donations there.

@4meAndyou Nobody likes to be approached inside of a store asking for donations like this when they are trying to shop. These guys know people who are in a store obviously have money to spend.
