Do everything. Check out every organization, club and such that you think you might have an interest in. Go to the sports ball games. Go to parties. Try everything you can.
But do all this after you've done your studying and class work. That's the primary reason you're there.
That said, you're also there to experience as much as you can in a relatively short amount of time.
