@Therealsteve Thevy29 is actually a sweetheart...something of a liberal, but SO funny, and sweet. I blocked Miram and Gangsteress a long time ago. I don't know if that tells you something about them...but do consider doing the same.
I don't think most ppl online want to discuss, they rather have their biases confirmed and imposed on others,smth which I have done in the past and maybe still do at times, and understand it's easy to do online. That being said it's not productive ultimately for any parties involved and it's smth I have observed ppl of all beliefs and spectrums do and it's honestly exhausting to even be a witness to. So I abstain from such topics for the most part now as they do not ultimately offer anything positive due to the nature of online discourse being so imposing

@PepsiColaP Same :) Years ago I decided I wasn't going to re-add people on social media who push political and "social justice" and instead only associate with people who want the best for me, and I saw the improvement. My stance was, I can't change people's minds, but as I become more successful I can lead by example. But with some people, all they want are handouts from the more productive, intelligent and successful. As soon as said successful person says "here is something you can change in your life to improve yourself", or "you may actually be wrong here because of x" then it's "heh you are against 'the science'", "that's far x", "read a book". It is is so sad. And all of them, all of them have the same mindset of "the average person in disagreement with me are stupid, and people more successful than me that disagree with me are engaged in some oppressive conspiracy".

@redredred No, that would not describe it, at all... When applied to work it would be positions that involve researching diseases and then drawing up models for organisations to use in preventing the spread of that disease. At the moment I currently teach emergency medical procedures to students at a local ambulance unit.

However, to respond to what you said. Homosexuality is observed in other species, and it's a big reason for the whole "overcoming the natural man" doctrine found in many religions.
