How do you deal with Writer's block?

Hi, I Usually just take a break, try to get myself involved with other new experiences to find better things to write about.
what about you?

have a good day.

sleep on it. it clears the brain and the juices flow again
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
I let it come, when it comes. And then it comes in a deluge! 😆

I often forget the original point. And then have to go back over the whole piece of writing.

It keeps going back and forth until I am too exhausted to post anything.

I have thousands of pieces I have never completed or posted.

That's probably a good thing there! 🙃😊

I became a photographer instead

Stop trying. Just start spewing bullshit and jibberish. You will be surprised how fast the good stuff comes to you
MonaReeves86 · 36-40, F
@Madmonk that’s what I do or I take my time getting ideas

Hemingway used to advise that you should sit down and write anything ,that the discipline was necessary

Go for a long walk and get some oxygen into the brain . . the ideas soon begin to flow.

Love the typewriter 😌

I read volumes of poetry. Nearly every line inspires some form of narrative idea.

I think taking a walk is one of the things that always helps me the most..
MasterLee · 56-60, M
I do other things awhile. Usually the last chapter takes months.
I don't cuz I don't right here's something that might help you
soulshadow · 36-40, M
That's what I do.. try and break any pattern you are in.

Slam my head against the wall a few times, but my skull is thick so don't try it

There is actually no such thing as 'Writer's block'. It doesn't exist. If it does appear to exist in some form for you, it's because you are listening to the wrong voice as you're trying to write.
