Who else is massively dissappointed with their feed?

I think I'm beginning to get the feel for it. If I enjoy a user. I comment when they post, get to know them a bit, then follow and favorite them. That way they show up in my feed whenever they post.

It doesn't help much for seeing other posts, but if a user is on SW routinely, then they will eventually hit my feed.

I'm good with that, but then again I don't need a hundred-plus followers/friends. I'm good with the ones I find fun or offbeat, or interesting/intelligent or who say things worth hearing. I'm perfectly happy with the small group I have - they all rock!

ehh I just randomly click around until something looks good so it doesn't matter.

I gave up on depending on it and keep pressing buttons....

Bit of a mystery how one minute you can be viewing recent posts and then if there aren't any more it reverts to stuff further and further back.
I guess every site has its algorithms and calculations for how they work but when you're seeing posts from two years ago you wonder if it's worth responding to what you're reading
