Multiculturalism vs Globalism

The difference?
Gamalon · 31-35, M
Real talk: Multiculturism a SOCIAL CULTURAL IDEA. It is a rejection of the “melting pot” idea. You see a melting pot takes the different ingredients and blends them and blurs them together into one ever evolving identity. Multiculturalism says that within 1 country or region there are irreconcilable and distinct cultures. And these are fine to eg here but are also fine separated.

Globalism Is an ECONOMIC IDEA. It Is the opposite of isolationalism. Isolationism means that one country or region’s business will be carried out at home and also no foreign business comes in. This is also called protectionism. Conversely Globalism means that a nation is opening up its doors to compete across the whole world.
[c=#359E00]multiculturism is bullshit, there must be something to bound them. Throughout history there are only two that capable to hold massive sumber of people together : religion and ideology[/c]

@darshak89 [c=#359E00] that's my intention, i don't like how you reduce the height of my post into just mere talk about language differences 🙄 i talk about something high and more philosopical and idealism here. And yes you're boring and annoying just like any other Indian male i've met before on internet
Bye 👋[/c]

multiculturalism deals with everyday people.
To lead towards an elite which will drive markets and use the multiculturalism trends for its own benefit economically.
multiculturalism is an ideology pushed on people
globalism is eventually ressources at the hands of an elite who will control the markets and use cheap labour brought on the multiculturalism movement.

Just to add to Theoneyouwerewarnedabout answer.
Taking my hometown (a trader's hub) as an example...

We accept all kinds, which is great for commerce. We thrive on omnicultural livelihoods, and we were started on such. Of course, my homeland is still a separate nation from all others, autonomous to boot.

Yup. No government. We do just fine without.

Oh, you were asking for the difference.

Multi/Omniculturalism is the acceptance of any and all cultures; Globalism is the forced mix of nations into one global nation, essentially forcing all cultures to become one, wanted or not.

No thank you. 'Earthica' is not something I wanna see. A robot that drinks and smokes bad/old/nasty cigars? Funny on TV, scary as fuck otherwise.
multiculturalism was the backdoor PC tool that delivered the globalist..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Wasamata U?? You dont like Pizza? Other cultures add a depth to our own. Globalism is an economic tool still in its infancy.. But without proper management, you end up in the situation America finds itself, with supply chains fractured and at the mercy of unfriendly nations.
first step. wreck the middle east. displace a bunch of ppl.
second step. move them to places where the cultures and lifestyles are different.
step 3. call everyone racist when the melting pot boils.
step 4. now were all mixed in.. globalism. destroy history. tear down statues. re-write the history books.. we were all born in Africa. there was never any slaves, or wars, famine. everything was , is and will be perfect.

oh happy day

Multiculturalism: self-immolating idiocy
@GERRI What?
Allelse · 36-40, M
You've gone and done it now.

Globalism deals more with trade across country lines regardless of the ethnicity within countries, often multi-cultural. Read Friedman's book "The World is Flat," it is very interesting.

@GERRI diversity is our strength slogan is total nonsense. When you do not have things in common, there is no diversity and therefore no strength.

Nowadays we live in an inverse world. good is bad, bad is good, sky is earth etc[big][/big]

@darshak89 that was the idea at the start. We always got neighbours. No the EU proved to want a destruction of cultures, traditions and languages. Enrichment comes via immigration from countries who have nothing to do with europe, if you want to call that enrichment of course....
