Only in 6th form as an O-level for people studying language A-levels.
ArtieKat · M
@SW-User We did compulsory Latin in the First and Second Years; I continued to O Level in the 5th Year as I was also studying French and German (which I did to A Level along with English Lit and General Studies).

No, but I've always had (and still have) a natural knack for foreign languages and dialects.
plasticpants02 · 61-69, M
Yes. But it was catholic private school
GerOttman · 61-69, M
Yep, I took German instead however.
BlueVeins · 22-25
No, only French and Spanish, and neither particularly well.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F

I took Latin by correspondence. Distance learning not in class. I studied French in class as a second language until they school stopped teaching it. I was the only student wanting to take the course.
JoeXP · 56-60, M
It did. I found it totally impossible. I’d love to try and learn it again.
HijabaDabbaDoo · F
Nah. They only taught French and Spanish. Latin would've been cool though
summersong · F
Yep, I took 3 years of it and was in the Latin Honor Society.
ProdigalSummer · F
No, but i taught it to my kids when they were homeschooling.

My JRHS did because it was a Catholic school. My HS dropped every language but Spanish, ASl the year I started.
