Anything by John pilger, zeitgeist, is the man who is tall happy, requiem for an American dream. Plenty of others but these were first off the top of my head

Interesting for personal reasons:

Oceans by Jacques Perrin - because of music by Bruno Coulais and that's how I actually discovered him.

The Great Happiness Space by Jake Clennell - about Japanese host clubs where young men serve as escorts for wealthy female patrons

The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness - Documentary about Studio Ghibli and their founders. (Interesting both for the insight into animation industry and the subjective point of view of the founding director Hayao Miyazaki.)

Arirang by Kim Ki-duk - Self-reflective documentary of Korean director who shot it while living as a hermit in some cabin, sleeping in a tent, without plumbing and running water.

Mayday - Canadian documentary television program investigating air crashes

@CrazyMusicLover Good Variety. You enjoy Documentaries like I do. I would rather watch Docos than Movies anytime.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Gusman I like both but it's easier to find an interesting film among documentaries than among other genres. I also like making-of, behind the scenes shots that show what are actors like off-screen. One of my favorites is the making of Love Exposure. I loved the movie and loved the making of.

Another documentary I would like to see is this one:

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QJlN-YbdDE]

It's about three young Chinese people coming from different social classes.

[c=#7700B2]I forget the name of it but it was a documentary on these three teens in a small town who were accused of murdering a few children and showing just how bad the police investigation was and how there was no real evidence towards them except the town not liking how the teens looked. [/c]
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
[c=#7700B2]its really good and well worth the watch[/c]
