much practice... and it doesn't always work.

I find that expressing my feelings openly helps a great deal.

That is a good question. From past horrors in my life I have ptsd and my initial response to anything abrupt or upsetting is to rage and attack. I hit. Martial arts keep me under control as well as meditation and some breath control exercises. Its mostly effective.

@revenant Let the hate flow through you.

@GeistInTheMachine definitely. Repressing it only attacks you from the inside

Sometimes prayer if it gets too bad but most of the time I can control my mind to something else to think about instead of this world

I try not to let it get to me. Mostly I succeed but there are times when I fail. Especially when the trigger is still in my line of sight and doesn't take the hint that I am not liking it...

I distance myself from rotten, toxic people in RL, and if one shows up anyway, I try VERY hard to be reasonable. IF I am reasonable and calm, and unable to express my temper, I usually end up crying from anger, later on.

Lacking self control is repulsive. Do you want to be seen that way?

Keep reminding myself over and over, "They know not what they do".

@SW-User Kinda felt like it needs to be heard sometimes. Only the first time I try, it comes out as mad. Sad mad. Angry mad. But then I try to soften the tone and explain.
I wish I could be more patient though. Tough stuff.
p. s. what happened to the book you said you'll send haha?

I'm not easily angered, but can be irritable.
Perks of an anxiety disorder.
That sound music really helps. I come across as a very chill person, but the music I make and listen to is usually very aggressive.
