When they take it all.....

..... you've got nothing to lose.
EVERYBODY HAS A BREAKING POINT...

But how does one realize they've reached that breaking point and its not just another excuse for an outburst ?

Is it a pattern for releasing another limitless rampage onto what triggered us. ?

Do we express un uncontrollable tantrum with an attitude that exceeds high levels of frustration which is directed to a target with extreme violence because we've had enough of being passive , holding back so much from deep within ourselves?

Is that the breaking point for most of us?
Is it possible to have a more calming point in which breaks us without a mental explosion?

Speaking for myself, If I have given several chances but they refuse to change, my breaking point is when I realize they threaten my happiness and peace of mind. No relationship is worth destroying your physical as well as mental health, it's vital to survive the rest of your life. I don't react with violence because that's sinking to their level. Violence makes you blind, acting out in a manner that is irrational and could escalate to the point of killing someone/ breaking the law. So I cross the bridge and burn it behind me. No explanations nor goodbyes, I just cut ties and a no-contact rule. We must decide whether we want to remain a victim or be the victor. I choose the latter.
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE Very well said

Anyone is capable of breaking if pushed far enough. It's our differences in self control that defines when. But I believe the longer it takes the more intense and violent the outburst. In most cases of the one doing the pushing gets a well deserved beating for which the aggressor unjustiably ends up paying.

@SledgeHammer I don't know the social situation or what controls the proximity but @NativePortlander1970 has provided the best solution if you can explore you're options to create some distance.

@Gibbon I know that distancing is the best solution and i need the strength for that... But its family... Im gonna see them again eventually..

@SledgeHammer Something I no longer have but a distant cousin I will never forgive.
You know your world best. Let your mind roam all options and don't be afraid to take a leap into the unknown if need be.

I need a distraction from all the possibilities in my head...
