Going to throw out ALOT!!!

Some that's worth saving, some that isn't. I don't have the time or patience for garage sales and donations when the landfill is minutes away.

So much I'd keep if I was moving somewhere, dishes etc. not rushing to buy something just so I can pay someone.

I thought the ex would take a lot of the obvious stuff, I'm going to be stuck with it

Suggestion: Don't throw out anything at all for at least a month and preferably a full year.
@swirlie not paying storage for stuff that's replaceable

Why would you throw it out if you intend on replacing it?
@swirlie why would I pay to keep stuff that's easily replaced? Need to get back to a point where stuff doesn't own me. Not planning on having a living space for awhile

I agree, if you simply don't have a use for the stuff then maybe someone else will. Unless that stuff you have is broken, then it doesn't belong in a landfill site, it belongs at a donation site where someone else can get some use out of it.
@swirlie not worth my time. If I was going to put that much effort in I'd either do a garage sale or pawn it

Doing a garage sale or pawning it isn't the same thing as dropping the stuff off at a donation site, ffs's!

If you had intended to take it to the county dump anyway, why wouldn't you drop it off at a donation site on your way there?! 🙄
@swirlie landfill is 3 minutes from my house, donation site is in a town I hate going to where I'll never get parking
