Going to throw out ALOT!!!

Some that's worth saving, some that isn't. I don't have the time or patience for garage sales and donations when the landfill is minutes away.

So much I'd keep if I was moving somewhere, dishes etc. not rushing to buy something just so I can pay someone.

I thought the ex would take a lot of the obvious stuff, I'm going to be stuck with it

You could have sat the stuff worth saving by the curb. Someone would have picked it up

Going to throw out A LOT. "A lot" is TWO words. There is no such word as "alot".

@Justafantasy I can see that correctness is just a fantasy to you.
@MissBarbara and you're the kind of person who gives women a bad name. Have to be right for absolutely no reason

@Justafantasy What do you mean? One can only be right or wrong. If I see something that is wrong I will point it out. It's not a case of being right for absolutely no reason.

Suggestion: Don't throw out anything at all for at least a month and preferably a full year.
@swirlie not worth my time. If I was going to put that much effort in I'd either do a garage sale or pawn it

@Justafantasy
Doing a garage sale or pawning it isn't the same thing as dropping the stuff off at a donation site, ffs's!

If you had intended to take it to the county dump anyway, why wouldn't you drop it off at a donation site on your way there?! 🙄
@swirlie landfill is 3 minutes from my house, donation site is in a town I hate going to where I'll never get parking
