I Am Annoyed

My mom complains nonstop about my dad. Im so tired of hearing it. 90% of the things she says to me is complaining about my dad. 5% is criticizing me in some way. Oh my God I wish she had a job so she could just divorce him but she doesn't want to work. You chose to and continue to choose to be with him, so stop complaining every 5 seconds. Or else get a job and leave him.

@User41 Yeah I am working on it. Trust me I desperately want to be independent. I'm actually living with my boyfriend at his moms house currently just so I don't have to deal with my parents.

@User41 What? I'm not blaming my parents. It is obnoxious any time I come to visit them that all she talks about is how annoying and awful my dad is. It is obnoxious that I can't even stay at my own house if I wanted to because my mom has stolen my bedroom and sleeps there so she doesn't have to sleep with my dad.

But if your parents have/had a terrible relationship how would you know what a good relationship even looks like?

@User41 Because I don't live in a bubble and my parents relationship isn't the only relationship I've ever seen? I've been educated in what a healthy relationship is like? My relationship is amazing and I couldn't be happier with it. I actually really enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and he's not controlling like my dad.
