Sometimes but not always. People have their lives going on outside SW, so no surprises that life takes first priority over SW.
Personally, I do try to let people know that I will not be able to answer for a while... except when I have been called away too suddenly for some RL task.
Of course, once there is a familiarity and friendship established with the person I am chatting with, then I'm sure they won't mind.

Yes sometimes but also sometimes people are busy or even at work so just have to go. I am on more when I am at work so I just have to get off here
