I keep a small ceramic bell, (not my taste), because it belonged to my favorite Aunt, and my cousins gave it to me after she died.
I also keep a pin that belonged to her, which was given to me after her death.
AND I keep a small Civil War era photograph, inside a tiny case, that she gave me when she was still alive.

@Musicman My Aunt found it when she was exploring a small crawl space in my Grandfather's house, (2nd floor), under the eaves. We didn't know who the woman was. My mother used to say that it might have been her Great Aunt Daisy, but I think it is far more likely to have been a relative of the people who owned the farm and the house before my Grandfather bought it. She is a mystery.
