What’s something harmless but annoying to you?

I’ll go first:
So when you find random YouTube comments saying the following:
Whoever is reading this, i pray that whatever
you're going through gets better and whatever
you're struggling with or worrying about is going
to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day!
Amen

It just kinda annoys me a little bit because this stranger who knows nothing about what the readers of the comments are going thru are still posting it randomly seemingly to get likes & attention. And why does somebody who has no idea what the readers are going thru just say that? Idk kinda strange to me, but for the people who like it, good for them ig. So don’t come at me 🙄

Dogs barking constantly.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Reject I had dogs and I didn’t let them bark like that. They have all passed on and now we have cats. They are quiet.
Reject · 26-30, M
@iamonfire696 That’s the best part of cats! It’s rare that they bother people, but with dogs, it’s rare that they don’t.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@Reject yes it’s completely different. I thought I was a dog person but I think I am really a cat person.
Being interrupted while Im reading.
someone in my house seems to think that when they enter a room we all stop what we are doing to listen to him talk.
@MartinTheFirst me either but... it has such a satisfying feel in my head.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@nonsensiclesnail I swear people talk to you more when you are trying to read.
@JimboSaturn The only thing worse is putting on headphones. I swear, If Im ever trapped alone and in need of rescue, I'll just put on headphones, someone will show up to ask me questions.

People who think they can sing good but can’t and then want to share their “talent” with others.
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@cherokeepatti Ooh that’s a good one lol
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@MysterySci Or the doting relative who seems to think their fruitcake is not like ordinary fruitcakes and keeps pestering you to try it.
craig7 · 70-79, M
@cherokeepatti Yes,unfortunately the world is full of people who think that they can sing!

When people smack their gum or their food
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@DeluxedEdition Ok I love my daughter very much but the sound of her eating bothers me soooo much. She smacks so loudly it drives me crazy. Sometimes I say "ok stop"
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@DeluxedEdition I love gum but won't chew it around people because i really get into it.
Overly optimistic annoys me so much but people mean well
SW-User
@SlippingAway Same hahaha
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@SlippingAway I knew a young couple who were moochers and they would thank, re-thank, and continue thanking profusely. It got under everyone’s skin because it was so damn obvious that it had started as a manipulation tactic and they drove it into the ground.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I kinda feel the same when someone says they will pray for someone on here too. Like do you know how serious praying is, and do you really know that person well enough to justify it? Sure we can pray for people but at least make it mean something when you do.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@MysterySci Yeah how could we deserve god's kindness when we do so much bad?
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@MartinTheFirst I guess that comes out of the belief that there’s a divine god and we are subjected to worship him. I identify as agnostic so I don’t relate with that sentiment much anymore. I guess I would have related more if I still was religious. :)
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@MysterySci subjected means youre forced. God doesn't force us to worship him which is what is so amazing. You only have to do these things if you want a relationship with god, and people who pray do. Unless they nurture their relationship then theres no reason for god to listen to your prayer. And its really difficult to deserve/earn something from him, as you have to do all of these thing while he has given you everything you have.. and yes you would relate more to what I'm saying if you still were religious 😌
BlueVeins · 22-25
Personally I tend to find those things kinda pandering
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@BlueVeins How tho? Wouldn’t rather just hear it from a friend or like someone who at least knows about your struggles? :/
33person · 26-30, M
They're virtue signaling.
Even worse is when someone says to turn it over to God so you can stop being anxious, and if it's God's will, it will be done.
None of this shit helps accomplish anything. It's just there to make people feel good about themselves, make them feel like they tried, tried to help, or did something important.
And as if these worries are small enough that they can be taken care of in one day, and then the readers can have a fantastic day. If the worries are that small, they're not the ones who need the help
SW-User
Hahaha

Well the repetive dialogues one has to see in old games 🤭 lately.

When I explain something and people didn't pay attention and ask again 🤨😠😠😠.
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
Thats similar to the people who post shit like, "you matter" "you are enough" bullsh*t some don't and aren't.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Someone trying to have a conversation with me while I'm working out, makes the workout that much harder
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
When people want to stop me in the store to pray over me. I generally let them to not cause a fuss but it's very hard not to eye roll.
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
@ViciDraco i’m so deeply sorry that you have to deal with that kind of ignorance. I am at a complete loss of words
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@DeluxedEdition it is what it is. As post is about, it's largely harmless but annoying.
@ViciDraco People don’t realize that’s condescending and rude ? 🤦🏻
Catfish profiles.. i find them annoying even tho they are harmless to me as i don't fall for their bs 😏
WhateverWorks · 36-40
The incorrect use of the word ‘literally’ lol..
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@WhateverWorks yeah literally
calicuz · 56-60, M

When someone offers their thoughts and prayers
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I think those are bot but who knows.
calicuz · 56-60, M
Guys trying to hard to be guys when they're over 35. It's just so annoying. It's like GROW UP!!!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@calicuz Oh I see. I hate that too, guys that feel a need to be stereotypically male. To me that is just a form of extreme conformism, and it bothers me too. My peeve is men who will only watch sports or action movies; grow up and develop a brain wil ya?
calicuz · 56-60, M
@JimboSaturn

Exactly!!!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@calicuz My father in law was like that. And his food too. Had to be meat of course and hot sauce because he was a man :P
PaleandPolluted · 36-40, F
People who go distant then suddenly pop up a week before they've got to face you in person. What gives?
Saintweezer · 36-40, M
Untied shoes
Non-black people using the term "woke" as an insult…
Sets my teeth on edge because I remember what the term used to mean.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard What does that really mean? I don't use it but don't understand it because of how many directions people go with when they use it.
@Fungirlmmm Originally it was used a lot during the days of the Civil Rights struggle, and the Panthers, to describe people who were aware, especially someone not racist.
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard Thank you for explaining. I figure if i don't ask I will never know.
