@cherokeepatti I was in an accident once and banged my knee on the dashboard. My son was in the car seat in the back, and I thought I was fine afterward. There was no damage to the car, so I didn't even bother taking the guy's insurance information. In the days and weeks that followed I realized I had hurt that knee pretty badly.

@Slade So many in Oklahoma City area do not have even basic liability insurance. They are told when they buy a car to get full-coverage insurance and they say they will and some end up totaling their car saying they couldn’t afford full-coverage. Then they have to scrape and find someone willing to sell them another car after they pay off the first one. And I have worked with two people at the car lot where I used to work that got hit by illegals and they didn’t have insurance. So who pays for it if they don’t have full-coverage? The one who got hit by them.

@Slade here too. The responsible people pay for it all. There are so many illegals in the county jail that the police don’t want to arrest them for not having an insurance card even when they cause an accident. That is rotten.

@MyNameIsHurl A little sore, the airbag did a number and usually does to people in the front seat. My glasses got scratched and need new ones now. My insurance will pay.

@MyNameIsHurl they sure do, I keep seeing it like it was video in my mind. I saw her turn left right in front of us and then crash into the front left bumper and car parts flying through the air and my car seemed like it was going to flip. Ended up about an inch from that power pole, probably would have been goners if that happened even with air bags. Smoke came from the air bags but I thought the car was catching on fire.

@bookerdana I can get a loaner anyway and no it doesn’t take 6 months. I’ve worked for a used car dealer and he knows what to do if they try to screw me around. He had to do it when an insurance company tried to settle for a quarter of the value of his car. One carefully worded letter from a lawyer at minimal expense is enough to get it done and he got more than he was expecting and they do have to provide a loaner

@SW-User sore in different spots from the airbags popping and the seat belt pulling my shoulder but OK other wise. Didn’t sleep comfortably.
