@gol979 No. Its called gain of function. The virus was an animal one and modified so it woukd infect humans.
Now it was more dangerous for older people because of the nature of the receptors the virus used to infect cells.

This was in 2021, he was only in hospital for less than a day for tests, it was so mild they weren't even sure it was a heart attack! And he himself blames it on Londons air quality not anything else.
