Here's the latest from the FDA

... so WHY ON EARTH bother with these jabs??

That's because no vaccine ever in the world has ever done that.

Vaccines are designed to trigger the body's own immune system in a particular way. That makes the immune system produce antibodies and possibly TCells etc. Some of those triggers are for life (measles for example) and they stay there for ever, some have a limited lifespan and you need to regularly retrain the immune system (flu is the most obvious example).

Now some time down the track you may be exposed to the virus (or whatever) you've been trained now against. Then the immune system is ready and can rapidly attack the interloper either so that you actually don't know that you were infected (best case) or that the symptoms/outcomes are reduced thus reducing serious illnesses, hospitalisations and deaths.

In effect no vaccine really "works" until you are actually infected, although basically you would prefer prevention of infection over reduction of symptoms obviously.

@OldBrit You are quoting data without any verification. Anyone can create a data set and unless it is questioned and proven the data remains suspect. Let me ask you a question. please answer honestly. You are not much younger than me so in your life how many people have you known or heard of that died from measles? I don't know of anyone. I know of people killed in car accidents and farm accidents and suicide and early heart attacks and ...... but I don't know of anyone who died or lost a child to measles. Hmmmm

@hippyjoe1955 I'll not swear but seriously!? Your questioning the ONS national dataset?

As I said before you're beyond having any rational sensible conversation with.

I even include the statement on the dataset to it's veracity.

I take my leave of this crazy house.

@OldBrit Enjoy your insanity. The vaccines are not a magic bullet. Have a nice oblivion and keep believing the government stats. Just as a note - coincidence does equal causation. IOW plumbers have saved more lives than doctors and vaccines.

There is no point to having a “vaccine” that is not a vaccine.
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@Carissimi Read my answer on how vaccines work. No vaccine ever prevents you catching the disease. It primes your immune system to fight it.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Of course, and this does not do that. It neither primes your immune system to fight off catching the disease in its earliest of stages, as in you may catch the virus, but before you have a chance to feel unwell, or show symptoms, your immune system has already dispatched the invader without you even knowing it., therefore you don’t pass it to others. This is how traditional vaccines work. With this (whatever it is) you do catch it, and you do feel unwell and have symptoms, and you can pass it to others. @OldBrit

Sounds like it followed the rules, except for the long term trouble
