I Have Sleep Apnea

Diagnosed In 2008... I sleep with a CPAP, and probably always will.  I hate it because it feels like I am attached to a dork machine,  but I realize it is a medical device that I need to keep me breathing when I sleep.  I have thought about having surgery, but I have heard the results are haphazard and sometimes the surgery makes the OSA worse.  So I will continue with my little pump and thank God for insurance to pay for  it and the supplies.

I know exactlyvhow you feel. I have OSA as well, I call it my darth vader machine. I also have to ave 02 pumped into the cpap because my 02 saturation goes down way to low t night even with the cpap. I don't know if you're aware of all of the other complications that can arise from OSA, but you should check them out. Your provider, care giver should be able to supply you with information . Good luck to you!
