My poor finger

The other day my neighbor husband called me. His wife she fell down and he couldn't get her up so he called the ambulance. She been having health problems lately. So he wanted me to clean up the house a little. No problem with me at all. I was watering her plants she had in the house and one of her cactus poke me on the finger. I most have had a reaction from it my finger started to hurt and swollen up in the area where it poke me. I heard this icy hot and wrap it kind of helps. Is there anything else I could do to get my poor finger to feel better
