US Healthcare is a joke

I always tell people if I'm not dying or otherwise I'm not doing hospitals or ambulance rides i usually fix myself why?

because a sliced finger from a kitchen mishap that requires three small stitches ( Even with medical insurance) should not run me about $1,500 absolutely ridiculous or them still charging you but saying nothing is wrong the biggest theives in the country and sadly a lot of people are following me. for the average joe we just can't afford to go to hospitals anymore and it will get worse.

Was it "coinsurance" ? (pay a percentage up to a max limit)

Fortunately I only have copays, usually $25 to $40 per doctor visit. For hospital emergencies and stays, my max is capped at $750. This worked immensely in my favor since I was there a month and the final bill to the insurance company was $175,000!!

Yet my maximum out-of-pocket is $5000.

I wonder how much in premiums I have paid, though, over last last 27 years?
