Donald Trump and the death of universal healthcare in the USA

Trump is entirely pushing people in the USA to the accessing *all* healthcare via private providers, which means the lower class and much of the middle class, unless in a job where healthcare cover is provided by the employer, will have no healthcare accessible to them.

Medicaid and Medicare's great accomplishment was to drive the cost of health care to a point where but a very few can afford private healthcare.

The Democrats solutions for unaffordable healthcare have all been based on cost shifting and forcing people to buy health insurance, or forcing employers to provide health insurance for employees.

We need a different approach, a better approach where all Americans have access to free or affordable health care, much like we all have police protection, fire protection, free K-12 education, etc.

I think president Trump will lead us to that better system.
