Headache that won't go away

I'm not sure if it's from stress from work or the cold weather that has moved in but I've had a headache for a few days now. It's more of a dull pressure headache, not like the normal ones I get. Today is going to be a struggle. I'm also feeling dizzy and light headed every time I stand up. Been a while since I've felt like this.

THAT is a sinus headache. Because you are you, you can't take decongestants, so you will need some saline nasal spray, AND you will need to sit in a very humid room...(if you don't own a humidifier, buy one). Drinking HOT beverages and inhaling the steam will help, and eating hot soup.

Your goal is to get your nose to run a little bit, so that your sinus blockage can clear itself out.

Take Zinc. If you split a caplet in half, that's about the right dose, and take a vitamin C pill.

@4meAndyou my life would be so much easier if I could take a Sudafed or something but my hr is pretty high today already so I'm not going to do that.

@Cigarguy Make yourself a steamy cup of hot herbal tea...with no caffeine. Inhale the steam.

@4meAndyou yes you did. I'm drinking very hot tea now and I'll probably go home and take a very hot shower to see if that helps. I'm also thinking about leaving work early and going to urgent care

@Cigarguy That's probably a good idea...but you can repair it yourself, too...buy some Zinc please. It's in the vitamin section. Take 1/2 of 1 caplet after eating food. It's a little hard on your stomach.

I have had a headache and ear ache for almost a week, and when I take the Zinc and vitamin C my nose starts to run...and hot soup works in addition to the meds.
