The UK's socialised healthcare and welfare

Many brits like to flex against Americans, talking about how great it is that they have an NHS and all these handouts.

But then among themselves, they complain about the endless queues for the most basic of healthcare procedures, and the fact that every other person on welfare doesn't actually need it but treats going onto it like a lifestyle choice - some people want to be a teacher/doctor, some people are happy on a small welfare check to spend on drugs.

Most us don’t give a shit about the US.

It’s got enough problems with crime, over politicised yokels, a foreign policy that guarantees them global hatred, and religious fanatics.

@Morvoren We don't care about the UK with their smarmy attitudes & accents, fucked up teeth, feminine men & masculine women & their cowardice to stand up against muslim yokels.

@SamInAZ Teeth. Where do you get you stereotypes from, the simpsons? That would make you morbidly obese, casually racist, and pig ignorant if I was to respond in kind..

And what cowardice when dealing with Muslims?

@TheEmperor you really are going for stereotype headlines....

Hiw about looking at the age of consent is massachusets until a few years back, or the amount of sexual molestation committed in the name of the church? If we are going to talk about child rape let us hold all areas to account. I celebrated the convictions for the grooming gangs but there are far more white grooming gangs than brown in the uk .

In 2023 40% of the US population were obese .... the highest ranking for a first world country.... britain was 27%

Stop talking out your arse!

@TheEmperor it is not great but when an american is calling us an obese nation when they have a larger problem it is kinda hypocritical and when you continue that argument you just come off as uninformed.... as your whole post is.

I am glad you got your surgery abroad. It is rare for the nhs to refuse treatment on the nhs for a medical ailment. So without you elaboratng on what you had done i will assume it was not health related

@TheEmperor i know you are not american. The comment was made by SaminAZ and you continued with that comment.

I am so sorry you have those scars, but if the surgery is deemed as cosmetic then it would be a waste of the limited nhs resource... surely you do understand that.... the nhs cannot treat everything.

As for the kid.... that is something that kids will say, even adults would comment on the eczema on my daughter's face in front of her.
