Yes! I've had mine for over 18 months now. It's made my life so much easier

I use one. It's very helpful, but you have to remember that its readings are not necessarily as accurate as a blood glucose monitor. Still, it's nice not to have to prick my finger tips anymore.

@DunningKruger there is a difference, but I wouldn’t say that there is enough of one to change the decision-making process.

I continue the old school method. My brother got a continuous monitor. Hope it works out well for you.

@OverTheHill I have done a few finger pokes if was unsure if the monitor was reading right. I really like seeing how my body reacts to certain foods, exercise, etc, in real time. I was surprised how I could have big glucose spikes, and not feel them at all.

I've been using mine for almost three months now. It is so convenient to just raise my phone to my arm. And yes, a finger prick is more reliable. I just have to keep in mind that the CGM is predicting what my glucose level will be in 5-10 minutes. That accounts for the difference in reading CGM and finger prick at the same time period.

@OldGrandDad i just got mine , but I really like it. I think when I change my sensor, though, I’m going switch to the reader instead of my iPhone. My phone seems to lose connection with the sensor a lot, and I am told the reader doesn’t have that problem.

I am glad for you. What do your numbers look like?

I’ve wondered if any plans cover it if one isn’t insulin-dependent. I’m diabetic, but still on Metformin. I’ve heard really good things about CGMs, but without coverage the costs are rather expensive.

@bijouxbroussard I just started insulin, so that made me eligible for it. I had been really hopeful about smart watches that claimed to be able to non-invasively monitor glucose, but it sounds like they’re not quite there yet.
