Hear it from the horse's mouth

Coronavirus particles are only about 0.1 micrometers in diameter, while smoke particles are typically in the range of 10 micrometers. That means the CDC, in pushing masks, is somehow arguing that masks which cannot stop 10 micrometer particles can somehow stop 0.1 micrometer particles. The non-logic makes no sense, of course.

Maybe surgeons should stop wearing masks when they operate on you. You should really read things properly before you post.
@MorriganoftheNight
Surgeons wear masks to block respiratory droplets which can cause bacterial infections those masks do not block airborne viruses.

@MorriganoftheNight Those don’t block airborne viruses.
@Onestarlitnight @MrBrownstone i am making just as sensible post as the OP 🙄

@MorriganoftheNight You should read the OP

@MorriganoftheNight Nobody is talking about surgeons. The problem concerns the forcing of ordinary people - non-surgeons, not working on opened up bodies - to wear face protection in their ordinary lives. Nothing short of ridiculous authoritarianism.

@MrBrownstone You, obviously, have no idea how masks work, and why we wear them. You also have no idea of the difference between how masks work in different circumstances. I suppose NIOSH and OSHA should not require protective respiratory devices ever?
