[b]Coronavirus particles are only about 0.1 micrometers in diameter, while smoke particles are typically in the range of 10 micrometers. That means the CDC, in pushing masks, is somehow arguing that masks which cannot stop 10 micrometer particles can somehow stop 0.1 micrometer particles. The non-logic makes no sense, of course.[/b]

@samueltyler2 They mandated masks. I saw countless people wearing so many variations of masks inclusive of crocheted ones with large openings in the mask. Then, these people wearing masks with holes all over them walk in a convenience store with a teenager at the register with their mask around their chin. It was ridiculous. COVID is not a death sentence no matter how much the government is telling you it is.. stop living in fear and throw the stupid mask in the trash. The evidence and “science” shows the masks did nothing!
@Bill1372 you are mixing various situations in an attempt to divert attention from the fact that the original post incorrectly quoted the CDC.
Although most people who caught COVID survived, over a million US citizens DIED of COVID! Over 10% of those hospitalized with COVID are left with irreversible, serious pulmonary sequelae.
The science and the evidence does show the efficacy of both the vaccine and good quality, properly worn masks.
@samueltyler2 "The Science" is a recently coined expression, which means the single point of view that is fosted on people 24/7 by every possible channel. The Father of "The Science" - why, it's our old friend Dr Fauci again, who actually declared, " I am The Science!" How unscientific is that!
It is a long long way from "science", which is an OPEN discussion between scientists of all colours working to further man's knowledge for the benefit of all.
@WalterF I don't know why you hate him so much. He retired after an amazing career in science. He made his mistakes, we all do, but on most issues he was an important speaker for the scientific method. Where did he say that? Please cite the reference.
