How many days do you have to stay home from work if you have covid 19?

I got tested positive earlier this morning which sucks and I have the symptoms.
I heard it’s five days but I wanna make sure so I don’t get fired from my job. Sunday through Thursday is five days so I could go to work on Friday. Right? What if I start to feel better and still have covid like say by Wednesday or Thursday?

@SW-User two weeks?! Hell no!!! I need to get paid, even though we do have pay sick leave. I don’t wanna use it all up.

I hear ya. I used all all my sick leave and personal time off, and then went a few days of leave without pay. Sucks, came outta my savings account. 😕

Oh well, we all move on. Staying positive. Not Covid positive, that is, hahaha!
