2 Dose vaccine, or Booster?

Its been a year since my first 2 dose Covid vaccine. Anyone know if booster is needed as Im overdue, or would it just be getting another 2 dose Covid vaccine again since its been a year?
I will also check with my pharmacy, I was curious here too though, if anyone knows.

It's Available finally!

It's a Traditional Vaccine, (not mRNA useless crap) and it has a 93% Efficacy vs the 35 - 45% efficacy of thpfizer & Moderna mRNA Vaccines.
Side effects are minimal, kinda like getting a yearly flu vaccine, because it's made like Traditional Flu Vaccines have been for Decades.

@Valerian Those Novovax efficacy numbers were measured against the original covid wildtype, not against the BA.4 & BA.5 variants that are now dominant. So your comparison is not apples to apples.

The Novavax clinical trial was conducted before the Omicron variant was circulating, so data doesn’t show how well the vaccine works against BA.5, the subvariant of Omicron that is now the predominant variant in the U.S.

Also,

The Novavax vaccine is only offered to people who haven't received any prior COVID-19 vaccine doses and should not be used as a booster vaccine.

@ElwoodBlues The efficacy of NOVAVAX Vaccine is easily 2½ times any other Available COVID-19 Vaccine, for BA.4 & BA.5 the trial data is forthcoming. Also, it lasts longer! Had Fauci & Pres. Biden & Jill Biden & Bill Gates all done 2 Doses of Novavax's Nuvaxovid NVX-CoV2373 Vaccine, they would likely never gotten COVID-19 even Once!

BUT, the BOOSTER will be available likely October 2022, unless the FDA tries to surpress the Vaccine further. Seems like someone High Up with Significant Influence Really Wanted useless mRNA Vaccines distributed and given to everyone! I'm not saying conspiracy, but there's something ODD going on.

They're saying 3 Novovax doses are comparable to 3 mRNA doses. Fair enough.

The next sentence says 2 Novovax doses have pretty good staying power, yet there is no staying power comparison to the mRNA vaccines.

THUS. Nothing in your quote says Novovax is in any way better than the mRNA vaccines.

AND. If you want an apples to apples comparison, the only one we have is against the original wildtype, where the mRNA vaccines showed 95% efficacy in trials of 30,000 subjects (Moderna) and 45.000 subject (Pfizer). These results are comperable to Novovax.

Novovax uses cells from moths to grow spike proteins. Novovax got a LOT of gov't support, but was delayed due to manufacturing/purity problems:

But the company has consistently run into production problems. The methods it used to test the purity of the vaccine have fallen short of regulators’ standards and the company has not been able to prove that it can produce a shot that is consistently up to snuff, according to multiple people familiar with Novavax’s difficulties. All spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive company conversations.

Frankly, it's not at all surprising that Novovax and the mRNA vaccines are comparable, because they both result in spike proteins in your blood; they just have different mechanisms for getting those spike proteins there.

Whatever you wanna believe...

But why are SO MANY PEOPLE* getting, (what made up term/excuse do they call it?), "Breakthrough Covid" after taking 2, 3 & 4 Doses mRNA Vaccines and 2 Doses Novavax Vaccinated people are NOT getting Covid Even when exposed to it Daily by sick relatives, coworkers or clients?
The EFFICACY of NOVAVAX IS BETTER whereas mRNA Vaccines Efficacy drops into the 30's and 40's after 3-4 months.

BTW: The Government investing in NOVAVAX has NOTHING to do with the Issue of EFFICACY!! It was a very Prudent move because at that point mRNA Vaccines we're NEW and Unproven! Novavax on the other hand is based upon TRADITIONAL Protein Subunit techniques use in Most Vaccine Production for Decades! Moth cells are just an innovative and neat way to do it!

@Valerian I don't believe anything. I draw provisional conclusions based on current data. I have not seen any stats on breakthrough cases with Novovax; I'd love to see your actual numbers on them. Like I said, the published efficacy numbers for Novovax were based on trials during the original wildtyp & apha & beta variants. There was a long delay from the Novovax trials to CDC authorization because of purity problems, but if you are aware of further phase 3 trials, please link me to them.
