Thankfully I never caught it, but the long term effects are horrifying. Even with mild symptoms, it can wipe out your immune system, making you vulnerable for all kinds of other things.

I seem to be back to normal more or less. Had it at the end of June/beginning of July. I coughed for three weeks, still do sometimes but less and less frequently.
Idk coz I never give importance to stuff happening to me until it comes in the way of my moving around to work.
When I had it a year ago, I also had a chest infection. I ended up in hospital a month later with breathing problems and lethargy.
The 2nd time I had it, this last March, I felt ok. But I have no energy.
