In 2021, the 75% of Americans fully vaccinated produced under 31% of Covid cases; while the 25% unvaccinated Americans produced nearly 70% of Covid cases.
This means the US unvaccinated had a 5X higher chance of contracting Covid compared to the vaccinated per capita, and that overall the unvaccinated had about a 15X higher probability of Covid death per capita.
Note: since 'Long Covid' occurs in 15% to 25% of Covid cases, that means there is also a 5X higher prevalence of Long Covid per capita among the unvaccinated.
@Wol62 In the US, this kind of denial of reality often originates among religious evangelicals who have been raised from birth to deny evolution and the geological age of the earth. When they've practiced that kind of denial for decades, it seems to be easy for them to go ahead and deny climatology and epidemiology too.
@ElwoodBlues Not to negate any of your well-taken points, he is using British stats and you are using U.S. stats. Could any difference be attributed to the fact that Britain has extensively used the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine and it is not approved by the FDA for use in the U.S.?

@dancingtongue That was 400 years ago. A lot of other people from other backgrounds, cultures, and nations have emigrated to America in the intervening centuries, and often in far greater numbers.
@ninalanyon And in recent times they have tended to settle in our urban areas, our so-called Blue states, where the jobs are, the economy is, and the culture much more liberal and progressive. Not so much in the Red states which remain conservative and the Evangelicalism thrives.

@gol979 what healthcare wasn’t available because someone didn’t get vaccinated? The fact that if there was an ICU bed shortage not being vaccinated may effect you getting one. Or the fact that all vaccinations are required to have an organ transplant?

I clearly remember you saying that the covid injection should be mandatory (ie forced) and you banging on about being an adult and you have to face the consequences of your decisions...have you changed your mind about the covid injection being mandated or still believe covid injection mandates are correct?

With all of the mandates not one has been held down and forced to have it.

@gol979 where is the study that shows it’s not safe? The vaccine tracking systems we use are very thorough and show that only 60 people had gotten blood clots out of 18 million people that received the J&J vaccine. They saw this pattern and stopped recommending it. If there were a reaction in the MRNA vaccines we would have seen it by now.
@iamonfire696 When 3 people you know die from the vax and when about 75% of the people you know who got the vax had some sort of adverse reaction to the vax and when everyone you know who has been vaxed got the disease after being vaxed..... It doesn't take a 'scientific' paper to inform you that the the vax is bad news indeed. The fact is that this type of vax has never been tested or proven to be safe and effective and according to Pfizer's own data is deadly no one should be so stupid as to assume that this is any sort of vaccine. It doesn't work and doesn't work by design. You don't prevent a respiratory virus with an injection. The antibodies such a vax generates is on the wrong side of the body and can't get to where the real virus is doing the damage. Then there is the alarming statistic that the vax seems to be damaging the vaxed people's immune system. VAIDS is a real thing.
