Anti-vaxxers who are convinced that “they” are altering our mRNA or whatever…

…what are you actually thinking will happen to us? And why? And what’s in it for “them”?

@ElwoodBlues The shitstorm of stupid...

@ElwoodBlues Sure, everything is completely normal. There’s nothing about the current situation that should concern you at all. Why, if there were any reason to be be worried or concerned, your government would let you know so you could take appropriate steps. All is good, all is well, you can go back to sleep now.
@redredred So, how you coming along with the proof of your conspiracy crap?
redredred · M
@LordShadowfire All is fine. There is nothing for you to worry about. The people in charge have only your best interests in mind. All is good.you can trust them. They love you and they only want the best for all.
@redredred Proof or STFU.
@redredred
Sure, everything is completely normal. There’s nothing about the current situation that should concern you at all.
You're aping this guy, right?

redredred · M
@ElwoodBlues no, you’re right. It was only in America under Trump that COVID was a problem at all. All other countries with better, nicer leaders dealt with it with no problem
@redredred So, it doesn't bother you when the slightest that you don't have shit to back up what you're trying to claim, then? I guess you must already know it's all a lie.
redredred · M
@LordShadowfire You must be right, why else would the whole would be at such peace with light, justice and clarity governing all of us so wonderfully?
@redredred
It was only in America under Trump that COVID was a problem at all.
At the end of Trump's term, Canada had HALF our per capita death rate; Germany was even lower. We won't talk about island nations like Aus & NZ - they had special defenses. Our death rate matched crappily run places like Italy.

And in the post Trump era 80% of US deaths came from the 25% unvaccinated. Is it coincidence that the anti-science anti-vax bandwagon was mostly Trumpsters? I've got the links to back that up if you're interested.
redredred · M
@ElwoodBlues No, you must be right. Isn’t it good we have such a wise and capable leader now. He’s so smart and capable and the Vice President seems so serene and knowledgeable too.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@redredred The issue isn't really that you perceive this guy to be bad, it's more then your brinairy rhetoric doesn't allow you to understand that the guy you have supported was a dumpsterfire of fuck ups.

@SW-User I’m sorry your intellectual limitations require the use of canned responses instead of being able to come up with your own. I blame Trump.

@Kwek00 you mean back when gasoline was $2.25/gal and we weren’t on the brink of actual nuclear war and serious “journalists” weren’t predicting food shortages, not in North Korea, but in the good old USA, and, despite his mean tweets he was actually using the English language in a fashion that could be understood? That guy? Yeah he was mean.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@redredred How did Biden inflate the global energy prices redredred? Please explain, because it sounds really ignorant to think that he has.
Are we on the brink of nuclear war now? Sounds like a hyperbole to me.
You think Biden is also the reason for the food shortage? How far does this scapegoating go?

I understood his language, my issue is with what he was selling. I know the Trump crowd loves the optics, but that is largely because they are really bad at tackling the substance. That's a big problem that the Trump crowd has.
redredred · M
@Kwek00 I know no one has ever trusted you with executive responsibility so this may be news to you but the responsibility of an executive is to deal with the situation as it is and not find excuses beyond his control. Trump did that, morons like Carter and Biden never did.

If you think nuclear war threats are hyperbole perhaps you missed Putin mobilizing his nuclear response forces. And, if not nuclear maybe it’ll just be the chemical warfare Biden threatened when he informed the Airborne that they would be in Ukraine

Wow, the libertarian now suddenly thinks that the governement is some kind of devine being that has control over everything and can just find simple sollutions on a national level for global issues in all cases. How intresting is that.

I think all governements are dealing with the issues of today. But you aren't talking about how they are dealing with it, you are just blaming an administration for a global problem that was finds it roots outside of their control. That's the issue, you are not dealing with substance, you are dealing with optics and then it becomes really easy to just blame people and pretend that the ones you love and support would do better "just because" (why is never answered here).

When a global problem presented itself to president Trump, he failed to meet the task. When Italy was reporting a large amount of deaths, Trump did nothing. When the Europeans finally understood that they had to take measures, Trump was still in denial. And when something he could have reacted too early started spreading furter and furter into the poppulation, he was still waging war with his own administration that should advice him on health issues. So this faerietale that Trump was meeting the challenge, feels kinda stupid.

The entire idea of mutual destruction, only works if people want to believe that it's going to happen. That a superpower holds his missiles ready during a conflict that can run out of hand, isn't really that special. The fact that you are worried, clearly means that the strategy has an impact. However, at this point, we are not firing nukes all over the place. That you use Putins' actions as an element to paint the contrast with the previous and the administration now in Washington, also feels kinda stupid. Because no matter who is in office, Putin will do what Putin will do. This brings us back to the first point, that governements aren't devine and all powerfull.
redredred · M
@Kwek00 Seriously? I want you to reflect, honestly just exactly what your response would be if Russia had mobilized its nuclear response force in reaction to something Trump had said. I want you to reflect honestly to how you would respond if Trump had threatened the use of chemical weapons.
