@SW-User Thank you for providing the link to the Pfizer documents. I agree with the gentleman that believes (correctly in my opinion) that this information should be in the public domain and subject to public review. However, and very unfortunately, neither he nor Dr. Rose are able to interpret the data correctly. I listened to his video in full, and read the document he referenced (https://phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/5.3.6-postmarketing-experience.pdf) so as to judge whether he was interpreting the information fairly and correctly. He wasn't, nor was Dr. Rose.
The data presented are based on case reports that were available to Pfizer. Some of these were reported by medical professionals (60.3%) and non-medical sources (39.7%). These provided a total of 42,086 cases for review. It is unknown how many vaccinations are represented in total that generated these 42.086 reports. This is important because there were 1,223 deaths reported in people who took the vaccine. Note that this doesn't mean that 1,223 people died BECAUSE of the vaccine, only that people died following the vaccine being administered, which could have been from many causes, including covid itself. Deaths CAUSED by the vaccine are established by a review of the cause of death and would be reported directly and included on the death certificate.
The first thing that strikes me is that there was a long list of possible adverse reactions from the vaccine. This indicates to me that the evaluation was thorough in finding any potential changes following vaccine delivery. Review of these data are important in identifying any rare but significant events from a particular vaccine. Indeed, review of data like this was exactly what identified a rare side effect of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine involving deep vein thrombosis in a small number of women, which prompted changes in administration to women who might be subject to this rare incident.
Another notable inclusion in the cases was the specific symptoms of injection (e.g., pain and swelling at the site of injection, flu-like symptoms following injection, diarrhea, malaise, nausea, vomiting, etc. This was expected, but it swells the number of cases reported.
I was unable to view the Dr. Rose diatribe, but after her first sentence deliberately misattributing a death rate of 3% to the vaccine based on the data, her opinion can be disregarded as she doesn't have a clue about what she is saying.
The bottom line is that there is nothing in this report that by itself indicates that the Pfizer vaccine is either unsafe or ineffective. The FDA in the US and other governmental bodies in other nations who are knowledgable and experienced can take all of the information into consideration and make good, informed decisions. I believe they have done this with the vaccines, and consequently we have safe, effective vaccines that have saved hundreds of thousands of lives, and continue to do so. Now, if you'll excuse me, I believe the FDA has authorized a second booster shot of the Moderna vaccine for those over 50, and I should go get mine.
