Any death is sad and tragic. Especially at that age.

@Tres13 hear what they are doing to covid patients in hospital now? The vaxxed get pumped with ivermectin, so they can show the media “look the vaccine works” while they knock off the unvaxxed via ventilatiors while they say “look, this is what happens when you don’t get the jab”

@VirginMatchmaker many people here will never accept this virus as anything serious. They believe the numbers are falsified, that there is a world wide conspiracy intended to control behavior or, if they believe the numbers are even real, on decreasing population. Sick, lunatics, until it hits them directly, those of us sane enough to believe, will be ineffective at changing their minds.

@samueltyler2 I'm not going to try and change anybody's mind with my opinion. Like you said people will only believe it when it hits them. Some people do get away with it and you only get flu symptoms but if it hits bad it really hard. Getting vaccinated reduces the risk of hospitalisation but that's all. Even so I've been fully vaccinated with all 3 jabs since October.

@Remmy I don't get why so many are being so foolish, risking their own lives and that of their friends and neighbors. Why are so manybpf us behaving so badly?

@samueltyler2 I have no idea, it doesn't make sense to me either. I guess some people don't believe its real, others think that the vaccine is some strange conspiracy ect. Never realized there were so many idiots in the world.

@Remmy but, what I see is more that just regarding covid. The US National Highway Safety Commissio report that the the number of miles driven by Americans in 2021 fell by 13% while associated with an increase in crashes of 7%.

@jenmil Remdesivir—> organ failure (lung collapse, kidney failure , liver failure etc)...induced coma —> ventilator ....end of the story. Hospital is a one way trip. I know many perfectly healthy vaxxed and unvaxxed. Same protocol , same outcome

@SW-User more troubling is that it was probably a preventable death! Vaccination and masking significantly lower risk, it doesn't eliminate risk totally, but significantly!
