Australian researchers launch COVID calculator that assesses your risk from the virus

I went through the assessment with these results.

Risk of getting symptomatic COVID-19 under current transmission and vaccination status - 1,600 in a Million
Risk of dying from COVID-19 - 0.50 in a Million
Risk of dying from COVID-19 if I get infected - 370 in a Million
Risk of dying from a Blood Clot from the AstraZeneca vaccine - 0.1 in a Million
Risk of dying from COVID-19 related blood clot if infected - 100 in a Million
Background risk of dying from an atypical blood clot - 0.3 in a Million

Looks like I will be finding another way to depart this Earth - When my time is nigh
Did you get the vaccine?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Spoiledbrat Yes. Double dosed Astra Zeneca
Me too. @Gusman

Where is it? And does it work for other countries?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@ninalanyon No reason for it to not work for other countries.
Only related to the AstraZeneca dose at this stage.
Just know the approximate transmission rate of Covid in your area.

@Gusman Thanks.

Just tried it. Quite interesting.
COVID-19 and outcomes of COVID-19

[quote]Results shown for a 60-69 year-old male who has two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, under medium transmission scenario.

Risk of getting symptomatic COVID-19 under current transmission and vaccination status 960 in a million
Risk of dying from COVID-19 1.8 in a million
Risk of dying from COVID-19 if you get infected 1,900 in a million

Here in Norway a 65 year old man has an average risk of dying of about 10000 in a million (one percent); see https://www.ssb.no/en/befolkning/fodte-og-dode/statistikk/dode.

Good to get it put in proportion. It looks like it's very much worth avoiding catching it!

I think that the calculator should show the all causes risk as well as, or instead of, the other strangely chosen things like twins, double yolked eggs, and left handedness. After all what people want to know is how much excess risk of dying there is.

Unfortunately it doesn't really cover my case. As you said Astra Zeneca only and here we have used mostly Pfizer.
