Nah that just alarmist. August 2020 we were still locked down, still masked and gloved up and all those people with a weakening underline condition were still self isolating. A year later we’ve pulled all that back. And these people are getting exposed again.

@WalterF there’s a percentage of people where the underlying conditions they have, particularly those connect to respiratory problems are a acute no current vaccine would help them. But for the fortunate majority of us it significantly lowers the risks.

@WonderGirl1 what percentage is that?
@MrBrownstone I don't know the percentages, but in some southern states, the number of infections and deaths are the highest since the beginning of the pandemic.
