Isn't it kinda wrong to blame the president (one single person) for the deaths from covid??

He halted flights to and from Europe for a while. I mean how much can one person really do. Don't blame him, blame the individuals such as the spring breakers that went ahead and had their measly holiday, and the ones that didn't sanitize or take any other precautions. I mean, suggestions were made and not very many followed the suggestions. When there were "lockdowns".. guess what, I saw soooo many more people than normal out and about.

I cannot understand at all why Trump discouraged (even disparaged) using masks and social distancing. The stupid dumbass failed to keep himself safe, so yes, there's something to his misunderstanding of how a person keeps themselves safe...Herman Cain a visible Trump supporter died after attending an unsafe rally - so there's your one person...

@swandfriends Absolutely! But I do think when there's lots of people too close even outside there's a chance of spread - I always just compare it to transmitting a cold...if someone sneezes, you want to be out of their firing range! 🗣️

I feel like the public is so concentrated on wearing masks, that they are forgetting the importance of watching where you touch and looking over sanitizing hands and touch spots now

@swandfriends Yes, that's a big deal - just at the ATM and I could see fingerprints all over the screen...went straight to the sink when I got back to my office.

You’re right. Trump can’t be responsible for all those deaths. That’s wild and unfair to claim, but I think the reason people are upset is Trump as our president has a duty and responsibility to set a good example for American citizens to follow. Many of us believe if he had been more respectful and careful of the virus instead of downplaying it and mocking the precautions people take such as masks, then he could have inspired more American people to follow his lead and be safer about it. Since he acts like it’s not a big deal, there’s many who are going to take his word on that and act more irresponsibly as a result. So even though it’s not entirely Trump’s fault, I hope you can understand why a lot of people see him as a contributor to those deaths.
when the don was stopping planes. nancy was encouraging parties in china town.
and joe was calling him xenophobic..

I personally hate the president, but I don't really blame him per se for the deaths from covid. I do however blame him for not taking it seriously and for being a mouthpiece for the view that the virus was not really all that dangerous and we were shutting down the economy for no reason. He called it a hoax. He needs to be more careful with his words, but I fear that doing something like thinking before he speaks may be above his cognitive abilities.

People don't like taking responsibility for themselves they want to be cared for. They believe the government is god and can do anything.

It's easy to blame someone so let the democrats blame the President. They will never be happy with anything he does..
