Isn't it kinda wrong to blame the president (one single person) for the deaths from covid??

He halted flights to and from Europe for a while. I mean how much can one person really do. Don't blame him, blame the individuals such as the spring breakers that went ahead and had their measly holiday, and the ones that didn't sanitize or take any other precautions. I mean, suggestions were made and not very many followed the suggestions. When there were "lockdowns".. guess what, I saw soooo many more people than normal out and about.

You’re right. Trump can’t be responsible for all those deaths. That’s wild and unfair to claim, but I think the reason people are upset is Trump as our president has a duty and responsibility to set a good example for American citizens to follow. Many of us believe if he had been more respectful and careful of the virus instead of downplaying it and mocking the precautions people take such as masks, then he could have inspired more American people to follow his lead and be safer about it. Since he acts like it’s not a big deal, there’s many who are going to take his word on that and act more irresponsibly as a result. So even though it’s not entirely Trump’s fault, I hope you can understand why a lot of people see him as a contributor to those deaths.
