I Have Something To Say About Coronavirus / Covid19

Well finally it's happened - Australia is now officially a totalitarian state as the federal government annouces effectively a total lockdown.... "People must now stay at home unless shopping for essentials, medical purposes, exercise and work or education if you cannot work or learn remotely."

This is on top of already using the military against Australia citizens and forcibly quarantining all people arriving into Australia from today in hotel rooms enforced by police and military.

Is this over the top?

Well I'm a shiftworker in the rail transport industry which is considered an 'essential service' so I still have to go work and do my full roster like nothing has changed with shifts all over the 24 hr clock cycle.

What I want to know is whether the new rules mean I cannot see my 2.5y/o daughter who lives full-time with my ex 5 minutes drive away. I have her with my on days that I am not working if the shift times suit, and there is no way I will stop seeing my daughter as she would be devastated (as would I).
