Too Much Information
I’ve always had heavy periods and always been anemic despite being on iron tablets for years.
I’m so fucking tired and can’t raise my ferritin levels. Day one usually has me dizzy as hell and my whole abdomen hurts.
I googled how much blood is considered heavy. It’s 80ml for the entire period apparently and 130ml is considered very heavy.
I wear a cup so decided I would pour it into a jar and measure. 180ml plus spillages and flooding on day one. And another 95ml yesterday that I remembered to catch.
I have been told by Doctors before that it just looks like more than it really is.
I’ve already been diagnosed and “treated” years ago for endometriosis.
I’ve made myself another appointment for next week. I’ve asked before but now I’m older I wonder what the chances they’ll actually give me a hysterectomy are? 🤔
