owie! That looks awful 🙁

Are you able to see a doctor? They can put you on anti viral meds to prevent it from getting worse. They can give you meds like gabapentin or Lyrica to calm down those nerve signals.

Ouch. With the the fact it's spreading, you shouldn't be playing around with it. That one, maybe two clusters really don't look good. You really need to see a Dr, sweet pea. 🫤

@moonlightlullaby went to urgent care. The first nurse practicing said it was spider bite..second dr in training came in gave cellulitis diagnostics from a possible spider bite..both gave recommendations, drew a blue line around the swelling and redness. They offerd prescription for antibiotics 2 times a day ten days . I called pharmacy filled script, took first dose last night, got nauseated, ate crackers as another post suggested, slept. Woke up, took second treatment, they said if swelling, numbness, weeping or redness continued past blue line go to hospital ASAP. Woke up 10 minutes ago, nothing has changed so its steady wich is good. Ill give updates but its pretty much a lets see what happens, let it run its course is the impression i got..

@CloudAngel80 I'm so glad you went and have a treatment plan in order. Hopefully the sickness subsides, but I guess whatever it takes to clear that up. I've had sepsis and you don't want that.
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
Yeah you definitely need some help with that. Have you got some antiviral meds yet?
CloudAngel80 · 41-45, F
@PatientlyWaiting25 cant go to dr until work is over, cant afford missing any more days
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
@CloudAngel80 that's very worrying. It looks like you need a doc straight away, some antiviral meds and maybe an antibiotic. I would go as soon as possible if I was you xx

@CloudAngel80 i keep hearing of people like you, theoretically too young to have been immunized against shingles. Antiviral meds might help, you really need to see a physician and discuss therapy.
You need to go to the hospital if you haven't already, this could be life threatening if it turns to sepsis. I hope you did and that you're getting treatment

Looks of it as far as now...
@CloudAngel80 it looks better hopefully you're on the mend
It follows nerve lines. It often is a half-circle on one side of the trunk (since the nerves are bilateral and symmetric).
