Go to beach alone or no?

I love the beach. If I could live there I would. I have not been in 7 years now due to a bad car, and then my sister got an awful pain disorder that led her bed bound eventually. She always came to the beach with me. I want to try to go alone (even though the highway I take is one of the dangerous in the U.S.)..but now she has neuropathy and can barely even walk. 🙁 I just feel so guilty if I thought about going for the day without her. I would definitely tear up when finally going in the water. While I think of her in awful pain at home. She doesn't deserve this. She is such a wonderful person. I want to go..but the guilt and sadness is high. Any thoughts?

I think you not going because she can’t go isn’t helping either of you.
Go, try to enjoy it. Take pictures and videos for your sister. Maybe even FaceTime her on the beach and bring her back some sand.

There are also beach wheelchairs that can be rented for the day that are able to get through sand and even into the water, so that may be something you can look into for the future.

@itsok Ty friend. 🦋 I was thinking of a video but would still feel guilty for being there. I will look into possible wheelchair that is sand friendly or water. Thanks 🌻

@Coralmist I knew someone who had a special wheelchair for the beach....I believe it was called a Roleez wheelchair.
