Go to beach alone or no?

I love the beach. If I could live there I would. I have not been in 7 years now due to a bad car, and then my sister got an awful pain disorder that led her bed bound eventually. She always came to the beach with me. I want to try to go alone (even though the highway I take is one of the dangerous in the U.S.)..but now she has neuropathy and can barely even walk. 🙁 I just feel so guilty if I thought about going for the day without her. I would definitely tear up when finally going in the water. While I think of her in awful pain at home. She doesn't deserve this. She is such a wonderful person. I want to go..but the guilt and sadness is high. Any thoughts?

Can a nurse, relative, or friend be with her?

@JoyfulSilence Yes but I fear she would feel so sad she couldn't go. And I do too. It is tough to decide. 😟

Maybe you could find a wheelchair accessible pier, boardwalk, or platform.

One place I go, I usually have to stick to the boardwalk or pier because the beach is not free. No matter, since the beach is small and crowded, and I do not want to swim. Not worth the price. The boardwalk and pier are free, and have plenty of benches. But they all have memorial plaques to commemorate somebody who passed away, so it makes me sad at times.
