I Have Gained Weight

It's been a stressful few months and when I'm stressed or emotional food is usually a comfort to me

I can feel my body changing, my energy decreasing, I don't feel as confident in my skin as I was

But I'm trying not to let it get to me, I know I need to get back to exercising and treating my body better...

Years ago I would beat myself up for gaining weight...

Society is tough on us girls, we are taught that we have to look perfect, be perfect but the truth is we can't be...

So I am going to take it as an opportunity to learn how to better myself, love myself, feel comfortable with myself at any size, because I am a bit bigger doesn't mean I have less value, to learn to be healthier in my body but also in my mind too...
Weight can have benefits as well. Like if you have a heart attack you recover easier than someone who is thin. Also depending on how it is distributed it is cardio-protrctive against heart problems. I remember a case where it protected on woman against cancer as well. But that last one is an exception.
But the point is I adore you at any weight. You are perfect. I am not proud of myself for being my weight. I'm built like an America football player:( I used to be underweight when I got sick. And I did not look good that way either. I looked like a bobble head. I look better with a little weight. But when I started taking meds, which I need, I got chubby:(

@canusernamebemyusername you're great as you are *hugs*
@JammieDodgerHeart My health could disagree but I'm more than health. I have to remind myself of that. And you need to remember you are more than health as well.

Try to be happy with who you are and set little goals to reach instead of looking back at what your size was and etc.
Your body might also be changing as you are turning into adulthood❤️
