Hiking. I've been going daily for years up until the last few weeks due to a leg injury. I can suck it up with physical pain (too much to hike right now though) but what it's doing to my head has been the real hurdle. At least I can drive to the forest and just find a rock to sit on. But it's not the same. One of those you don't appreciate it fully until it's gone things.
Driving a Manual Transmission vehicle. (aka stick shift) I so enjoy driving a stick.
I wish the vehicle makers would have pushed more for manuals then the complicated automatics. Ever try fixing or rebuilding either one. Hands down the manual is cheaper and easier fix
@HumanEarth :) I grew up in a manual transmission world. My dad had a couple of trucks with 4 on a long transmission stick and our first family car was a 1948 Ford with manual transmission. One of my favorite childhood memories is of my mom sitting in that parked car in the yard and talking to herself as she practiced: "first", "second" ....
