So we have a nice table in the restaurant and we have ordered our food

Pizza seems to be the favourite although I am having a salad 🥗. We didn’t have a problem with our gauzy sarongs covering us enough for people who might not like to see breasts as they are eating. It’s very busy still, most people like the Germans get lunch over and done with, some northerners can be like that too.

For Italians we are quite early to lunch! My brother and his wife are quiet, I think she is very tired from the baby 👶. I’m sure she appreciates having so many people around to help out with her (the baby is a girl, whom my brother has given two names for, Maria and Maddalena, the names of both grandmothers), we are all very happy to feed baby so Mama can rest. She is expressing her own milk so as to keep everything natural.

For me with Chiara I breastfed as long as I could but she was a hungry baby (quite the opposite now as a young woman, although she does drink a lot of water) so I gradually couldn’t produce enough milk to feed her and transferred her to formula milk. I think that is going to be the case with my brother’s daughter.

Anyhow, we are about to receive our food. 🍱

Did you have any problem finding a restaurant that was open, or is riposo not a problem there?

Your description of your toplessness is striking.

@samueltyler2 It’s Friday. Tourist season and a good time for local businesses to make some money 💰

@Ximenajacoba are there a large percentage that remain open? do they also serve the later dinner?

@samueltyler2 In Balestrate there are in the season but you might get one open for lunch but not for dinner

@Ximenajacoba running a restaurant is really difficult, and long hours for what you make monetarily. so many of the restaurants we went to in Sicily were small family run ones.

you should watch the movie about an Italian restaurant in New York
